Regardless of whether the mold develops inside or outside the shoemaking factory, they need to be prevented from developing and spreading by the following measures:

- Have regular disinfection, minimize the number of mold germs in the air.

- When storing raw materials, final shoes, they should be separated from the floor with wood panels to allow the air to flow to the bottom, and you should not store goods in dark and wet corners.

- Install a dehumidifier or ventilation system in high humidity areas in the workshop area to keep it dry.

- Keep heat-dried, pay attenntion to shoe case.

- Restrict inventory to avoid mold.

- When the shoes are shipped, the environmental conditions will change immediately, the fungicide solution must be used to prevente the goods from getting wet when it rains.

How to prevent mold on leather shoes

Keep your shoes in a dry place

Avoid shoes contacting with rainwater, as this will cause the leather to become damp and flaky, and when it rains, it is advisable to carry some plastic bags. You should also place shoes in a dry place, do not dry leather shoes by dryer, shoes should be dry by themselves.

There is a separate bag

There should be boxes for leather shoes. Before storing, apply a layer of vegetable oil to the leather to prevent dryness and wrinkles. Keep the paper inside the shoe to keep the form and absord moisture.

Use moisture-proof bags

Do not throw moistureproof bags when buying shoes, you should use them in the humid weather. When you go home, you should use a tissue to wipe it off and then insert a small moisture-proof bag into your shoes to prevent moldy development.
